1. Open your web browser: Start by opening your preferred web browser on your device. 
2. Access the Microsoft Account login page: Open your browser and enter https://account.microsoft.com to reach the Microsoft Account login page.  
3.  Click on "Sign in": Once you're on the Microsoft Account screen, click on the "Sign in" button located in the middle of the page or at the top right-hand corner. 
4. Enter your email address: Type in your email address associated with your Microsoft 365 account and click "Next" . 
5. Enter your password: Enter the password for your Microsoft 365 account. This password should have been provided to you via your personal email account or by a school representative.  
6. Set up two-factor authentication: Please select the phone option and set up text message verification, as this method is preferred for security. You may also use the Microsoft Authenticator app if needed. 
7. Update your password (if required): If prompted, update your password by entering the current password and then creating and confirming a new password. Ensure your new password includes at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, or symbols. 
8. Access your account: Once you have successfully signed in, you will have access to your account settings and personal information under "My Account." From here, you can also visit "My Apps" to find all the apps available to you within the Microsoft 365 environment.  

Congratulations! Your Microsoft 365 account is now set up and secure. You're ready to explore everything Microsoft 365 has to offer.
